Jeep has made its mark on the automotive industry by offering vehicles with sleek designs that are fully capable both on and off paved roadways. The brand has held its own off the trails as well by innovating and bringing new technology to each model. There’s a vehicle for everyone, whether you’re an off-road adventurer or commuting to your day job.
The Jeep Cherokee is a midsize SUV that took home a hefty shelf of awards in 2015. Motor Week named the model “Best Small Utility” while FOUR WHEELER named the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk “Four Wheeler of the Year.” Those awards back up the Jeep Cherokee’s capability on- and off-road.
The Jeep Patriot took home its own set of awards, most of which focused on the constant value of the model. Kelley Blue Book awarded the Jeep Patriot “5-Year Cost to Own Award” for not one, not two, but three years in a row. That award is given to vehicles with the lowest ownership costs over a five year span.
Rounding out the awards, the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited won Kelley Blue Book’s “Best Resale Value” and “5-Year Cost to Own” awards. Canadian Black Book appears to agree with Kelley Blue Book, naming the 2015 Jeep Wrangler the “Best Retained Value.”
Awards aside, Jeep has a reputation to uphold when it comes to adventuring off-road. Hitting the trails is as easy as packing what you need and heading out for the weekend. Jeep’s capability, technology, and value make it a tried and true master of the trails.
